I expect that the following You Tube ad – a clever take on Apple’s 1984 Superbowl ad, in support of Barack O’Bama, that takes a shot at Hillary Clinton while calling for change – to get lots of attention…
Personally I see this ad hurting Obama more than helping him (despite the fact that his campaign officially has nothing to do with it), but I don’t think it’ll make much of a difference. I do, however, think it’s a cool ad.
(Click here if you’re like me and are too young to have seen the original ad)
Also here’s an article that most likely has more insight into this than I do.

Very interesting, looks like the video is starting to make its rounds and buzz.
NYT’s The Caucus spotted Clinton’s reply to the Internet ad, who replied that as long as it perks interest with people who are new to politics or who are younger and not involved in politics, then it’s a good thing. http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/03/20/clinton-on-big-sister-video/
I couldn’t agree more, and I think she took the perfect stance on that, not opinionated on the video itself but instead on the demographic that has been slow to move to politics. Smart move.
They also quote Barack as saying that the video was too high tech for his team. Hmmmm, I guess we won’t see any superimposed Obama’s in any of his campaign ads. Darn.
