At first I was annoyed at Nader for running, mainly because I thought (and still do think) that if he was serious about running, he would have organized and jumped in the race a long time ago. Although I do sort of question his motives, I believe that a two issues are importance enough not to be annoyed at him, namely single payer healthcare and election reform (http://www.votenader.org/issues/).

As he argues, which I believe, if the democrats can’t win in 2008 they have nobody to blame but themselves. If Obama gets the nomination, I don’t think his running will matter much, although I suspect he’ll pull away some votes if Clinton is the nominee.

I agree, I believe Nader is bringing up more important issues than the Republicrats are willing to discuss. It is Obama’s own fault if he can’t pull votes away from Bush the 3rd.

Another point: Why are they so afraid to debate Nader? If they aren’t guilty of Losership they should prove it.
